Houses

NES Houses comprise of Aqaba, Jerash, Petra and Wadi Rum. Students are assigned to houses on entry with families and siblings in the same house. Our House system at NES encourages students to work as part of a team, to embrace the concept that taking part rather than winning matters and to exhibit a feeling of pride and belonging to their allocated houses. Students receive House Points for demonstrating positive behaviour, as well as for taking part in various House events throughout the year. House points are also rewarded for uniform, the shared language, kindness, courtesy, punctuality and participation.
House events cover a wide range of knowledge and skills to ensure that all students are involved in working towards the success of their Houses.
