Dear Parents,

We have prepared a Pictorial Guide (a picture is worth a 1000 words) that illustrates the measures and protocols we are adopting to safeguard the wellbeing of the students.

The Guide is comprehensive and covers all aspects that are required to make us ready to open the new school year.

The following precautions will also be enforced

  • All teachers will leave their offices during break times to strictly observe the students for safe distancing in the playgrounds and hallways. They will be vigilant about the wearing of masks by all students outside the classroom.
  • Sterilizing the school’s premises, classrooms and facilities daily after the end of the school day and as often as required during the day.
  • Sanitizing dispensers and wipes will be placed on every student’s desk in the Early Years. For the other departments, the dispensers and wipes will be placed at the entrance of every classroom.
  • Masks will be worn only during movement outside the classrooms and in buses.
  • The student’s body, clothes and bag will be sanitized daily upon entry into the school. The same will apply to all visitors.
  • Toilets will be cleaned after every use.
  • Assemblies and school events will be cancelled until further notice.
  • PE classes will not be cancelled but replaced by certain activities that observe the social distancing policy.
  • Canteens will be closed.
  • Students of each section will gather at their designated area and be escorted by the homeroom teacher to their classrooms.
  • A designated area is being assigned for any suspicious cases of Corona. Parents will be informed of the protocol that will be taken in case of suspicion.
  • A limited number of parents and visitors are only allowed into the school by scheduled appointments. No walk-ins will be allowed. Every visitor has to give his ID and telephone number at the gate for tracing purposes, if the need arises.
  • Awareness posters will be placed in Hallways and in corridors to continuously remind students and staff of the procedures.
  • The temperature of students will be taken by the bus girl as they enter the bus in the morning. Those with temperature will be required to stay at home.

Regards,

Chairman
