Message from the Principal
 Dear Parents/Guardians
With over 30 years of experience in the education field, Ms. Amal Qassem is in her rightful place to New English School.
Starting off with a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and Statistics she began teaching in Dubai-United Arab Emirates and Kuwait until she joined NES in 1993. In the years that followed, Ms. Amal took on various leadership and senior leadership roles, such as Mathematics Coordinator, Global Head of Mathematics, Head of Academics and Head of Secondary in 2012. Having taught and headed various curriculum such as the National curriculum, the IB  and the British (IGCSE/A-Level) curriculum, all made Ms Amal a key member of our academic development plan; that along with her leadership skills in administration has played an instrumental part in the development of our Secondary school.
Ms. Amal was awarded the Cambridge Inspirational Teacher in 2009 at the Queen Rania Awards Ceremony, being recognized for her positive impact through educating, coaching and leading. Ms. Amal is also known for constantly seeking development and growth for herself and those around her; she leads by example and has recently obtained her Postgraduate Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Leicester.
The warmth and respect of her manner in dealing with pupils and teachers is clearly evident, that among multiple other reasons is why we are excited to appoint her as our School Principal for the upcoming academic year!

The Story of NES:

There are times when one’s destiny is re-charted by circumstances. The journey of the New English School (NES) began in the early 1980’s when a Kuwaiti rented in Shmeisani a two-story building.
